Lingtren

Description
The last rays of light grace the summit of Lingtren (6749m or 22,142 ft). It sits about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) in a direct line from Mount Everest in the Mahalangur Himal area of the Himalayas. First climbed in 1935, the summit of Lingtren forms part of the international border between Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Taken on Fuji Velvia slide film in 2004. Two decades later, this digitally remastered version is the result of scanning the original slide and applying modern AI sharpening tools.
